We can't believe it! Wren will be 10 months old tomorrow! She has been such a blessing to our family and she keeps us on our toes! Here are some of the new things she is doing these days:
- Walking everywhere!
- Drinking out of a cup (milk, juice, and water)
- Clapping for herself when she walks
- Playing peek-a-boo with me by hiding her face behind anything she can find and then popping out from behind it
- Pointing to everything and saying "Da, Da" (we have come to realize she means "What's that?")Feeding herself finger foods (she is pretty much over the baby food)
- Holding her own bottle (finally! Once we weaned, she took over the bottle pretty quickly
- Testing the limits- if I tell her no, she will turn around to do it again after looking at me to see if the answer is still no
- Running/crawling away from me when I try to get her away from the "no, no" (with a HUGE smile on her face, I might add...)
- Napping! Yeah!!!
- Sleeping through the night again! Yeah!!!
- Attempting to climb on things (she hasn't quite figured it out yet, thankfully)
- Biting me with her 6 teeth when she doesn't get her way (this only happens occationally and we are trying to put a stop to it quickly!
- Opening and closing doors
- Taking toys out and putting them back in their container (over and over and over again!
- There are many more but this is all I have time for!
